The new and improved Astrox 88 S (Skill) PRO from model year 2024 with new, innovative graphite material and optimised sweetspot area.
The 88 S does not play quite as top-heavy as the 88 D and is therefore more suitable for a more varied game. The lower flex point in the head keeps the ball on the racket for longer and therefore does not develop quite as much power.
Ideal for doubles players playing in the forehand who are looking for maximum control and a variety of options for precise net play.
With new high-tech material "VOLUME CUT RESIN" in the racket head and revolutionary Namd graphite in the shaft for considerably more flexibility and more snapback power for successful attacking shots. With the newly developed technology, carbon nanotubes are evenly distributed in carbon fibre composites.
The club head of the new 88 S is 5mm longer than the 88 D and therefore offers an even larger sweet spot for more confidence in play.
The Rotational Generator System optimally distributes the weight of the frame using counterbalance theory, allowing you to quickly prepare for the next shot with full power and control. The new, innovative graphite "2G-NamdTM Flex Force" material is used in the shaft of the new racquet and optimises flex and snapback. The rotation generator system maximises impact power.
The further developed, new Energy Boost Cap improves the shaft performance. The shaft is curved at the front and optimises the Namd effect. The curved flank reduces torsion and thus stabilises the club head.
The Astrox 88 S PRO is easier to play despite the stiff shaft. Can be strung up to 12.5 kg!
