The thinnest of grips. It can be wrapped over an already existing grip without a problem. Over-grips are very soft and adjust well to the grip form and are additionally mostly very non-slip, partially even sticky (for e.g. the 3er Pack Overgrips by Li Ning). A basic grip should be wrapped on the badminton racket first, though.
These a bit thicker grips have a sewn in slub, through which the badminton racket lays well in the hand. Especially players with big hands, who sweat strongly prefer this kind of grip.
Terrycloth-Grips have a small, but steady fan group among badminton players, as they faciliate a rather special play feel. These grips soak in sweat really well and one has an extraordinary grip. After playing, they are relatively hard and soften during the play again. Terrycloth grips must be exchanged more frequently, as they are too hard and worn after a few games.
There is a large number of different grips that are made out of foamed up polyurethan. For e.g. the PU-Super-Grip von Karakal (air-dried) or the Premium Grip von Oliver. Victor use the Fishbone Grip as a basic grip over the racket grip on many of its high-quality badminton rackets.
